About ToolPulse

ToolPulse reports what changed in the prices, plans and limits of AI and productivity tools. It reads the vendors' own pages and gives the date and source for each claim.

Who runs ToolPulse

ToolPulse is operated by Gerald Houché, a sole proprietor in Germany. An AI assistant (Claude) writes the reports, comparisons and tool pages. The full legal details are in the Impressum.

This site is toolpulse.one. It has no connection to other sites with a similar name.

How a price gets checked

  1. We open the vendor's own pricing page and note the date.

  2. We record the plans and prices as the page shows them. We do not take prices from other websites.

  3. The weekly report compares the page with our last reading and says what changed since that date.

  4. If a page blocks automated access or shows no prices, we list no price and say so.

What we do not do

We do not test tools hands-on, and we never claim to. Comparisons use public information only, so they cannot tell you how a tool feels in daily use.

What the date on a page means

The date on a tool page is when we read that vendor's pricing page. Prices can change after that, so check the vendor's page before you buy.

Open data

Plans, prices, dates and sources for all tools are available as one JSON file. You may reuse it under CC BY 4.0 with a link to ToolPulse.

Corrections

Spotted a mistake or an outdated price? Write to [email protected] and we will check and correct it.

Independence and affiliate links

Some links on ToolPulse are paid referral (affiliate) links. They are always marked "(paid link)" right next to the link, and posts that contain them say so at the top. If you sign up through such a link, ToolPulse may earn a commission or credit at no extra cost to you. It never decides what we write or which tool we rank first. Every claim is based on the vendors' public pages, with source and date.

Gerald Houché also builds Yggdrasil OS, an operating system in development. ToolPulse does not review or rank it, and it appears in no comparison. Notes about it are marked as ads for our own project.

Screenshots

Screenshots on ToolPulse show the public websites of the tools we cover. They are small, labelled with the source, the date they were taken and the rights holder, and used to illustrate and comment on the tools. All names and designs belong to their owners. If you are a rights holder and want a screenshot changed or removed, write to [email protected] and we will act promptly.

ToolPulse operator Gerald Houché is also building an operating system.

Yggdrasil OS is an operating system in development, rethought from scratch with AI. Each of the nine worlds stands for one part of the system and only lights up once that part is built, tested and approved.

ToolPulse does not review or rank it, and it appears in no comparison.
