Quick verdict

ClickUp replaced its $7/month Unlimited plan with a $9 Core plan, raised Business from $12 to $17, and added a brand-new $100/month MAX tier with bundled AI credits — all confirmed directly on ClickUp's own pricing page. The other 24 tools we checked since Oct 8, 2026 show no confirmed price or tier change.

What changed since Oct 8, 2026

This issue covers the seven days since our last full check. One tool moved its entire pricing ladder; everything else held steady.

ClickUp's pricing page, read directly on Oct 15, 2026, no longer lists a plan called "Unlimited." In its place is a renamed, more expensive "Core" plan, a pricier "Business" plan, and a new top tier called "MAX" that did not exist in our Oct 8, 2026 snapshot.

Old planNew planPrice (old → new)
Free ForeverFree$0 (unchanged)
UnlimitedCore$7/mo → $9/mo annual; $10/mo → $12/mo monthly
BusinessBusiness$12/mo → $17/mo annual; $19/mo → $25/mo monthly
— (new)MAXnew: $100/mo annual, $120/mo monthly

Core's price rose by about 29% on the annual rate and 20% on the monthly rate; Business rose by about 42% annual and 32% monthly. The new MAX tier bundles 10,000 AI credits per user per month plus unlimited AI fields, notetaker and image generation, according to ClickUp's pricing page. The separate "Brain AI" ($9/user/month) and "Everything AI" ($28/user/month) add-ons are still listed alongside Core, Business and Enterprise, so AI is now either bought as an add-on on the lower tiers or included outright at MAX. Several independent pricing trackers describe this as a "limited rollout" in which existing customers keep their current plan and price until they actively switch — ToolPulse could not confirm that grandfathering claim on ClickUp's own site or help center (the latter blocked automated retrieval), so treat it as unconfirmed if you are an existing customer checking whether your bill changes.

Who is affected / what to do

  • New ClickUp sign-ups: expect to see Free, Core, Business, Enterprise and MAX, not the old Free Forever/Unlimited/Business/Enterprise ladder — budget for the higher Core and Business prices above.
  • Existing ClickUp customers: multiple third-party trackers say current plans and prices stay the same until you choose to move to the new structure, but we could not verify this directly from ClickUp — check your own account's billing page rather than assuming either way.
  • Anyone about to sign up for Kit Pro: the 25% first-year discount is still live on kit.com/pricing as of Oct 15, 2026, but the page no longer states the Nov 7, 2026 end date we reported last week. The discount size is unchanged; confirm the current terms before buying rather than relying on that date.

One item to watch

GitHub Copilot added Google's Gemini 4 Argon model for Pro+, Max, Business and Enterprise users this month — a feature addition, not a price change; Copilot's plan prices ($10/$39/$100 for Pro/Pro+/Max) are unchanged. Separately, Copilot Business and Enterprise seats move to upfront-charge billing at the start of the next cycle as of Oct 1, 2026, per GitHub's own changelog — a billing-timing change, not a price increase.

Unchanged since Oct 8, 2026

25 of the 30 tools on our watchlist were checked this week (22 via direct retrieval of the official pricing page; Make and Cursor via independent pricing trackers after their official pages returned only JavaScript-rendered content without extractable numbers to our automated retrieval; Substack via its official fee structure, re-confirmed through independent sources after its help-center page again blocked automated retrieval). Of those 25, 24 show no confirmed price, tier or limit change since Oct 8, 2026: Notion, Craft, Zapier, Make, n8n, Fathom, Otter.ai, Granola, Fireflies.ai, tl;dv, Grammarly, Jasper, Copy.ai, beehiiv, Kit, Mailchimp, Ghost, Descript, Loom, ElevenLabs, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Replit and Substack.

What we could not verify

4 of 30 tools remain unverifiable from official sources as of Oct 15, 2026: Superhuman Docs (formerly Coda), Perplexity, Canva and Midjourney — their official pricing pages continue to return either "403 Forbidden" or JavaScript-only content with no numbers to our automated retrieval. ChatGPT Plus is not included in that count: its Pro-tier pricing was confirmed in our Oct 12, 2026 comparison piece through OpenAI's own Help Center content (quoted via search after direct retrieval was again blocked), cross-checked against several independent outlets; we did not re-check it this week since nothing suggested a new change.
