What changed since Oct 15, 2026

This issue covers the 14 days since our last full check on Oct 15, 2026 (we did not publish a report on Oct 22). We re-read 22 of the 30 tools on our watchlist directly from the vendors' own pages on Oct 29, 2026. Two showed a confirmed change. We also correct one of our own earlier statements about Cursor, below.

As of Oct 29, 2026, Cursor's pricing page shows a completely different ladder from the one we tracked until now (Hobby, Pro $20, Pro+ $60, Ultra $200, Teams $40). The new page lists the tiers below. Per the page, Plus, Premium, Super and Ultra draw on "a pool of AI usage shared across Cursor and Grok", and the bundle includes Grok products such as Grok Chat and Grok Bot as well as Cursor.

TierPriceUsage vs. PlusCursor models
Free$0/molimitedno third-party models
Plus$8/mobasicGrok models only
Premium$30/mo4xthird-party at API list price
Super$100/mo15xthird-party at API list price
Ultra$200/mo50xthird-party at API list price
Teamsfrom $30/user/mo4–50xthird-party at API list price
Enterprisecustompooledthird-party at API list price

Three points matter for anyone budgeting. First, the page says Plus covers "only Grok models" in Cursor, and that third-party models on the higher tiers are "billed separately by usage" at API list price. A flat monthly fee therefore no longer covers all model use. Second, Pro and Pro+ are not shown at all, and the page does not say what happens to them. Third, the FAQ states that "Subscriptions are only sold directly through X Subscription Corp.", and the footer links "SpaceXSI Subscription Terms". The page does not explain how those entities relate to Anysphere, Inc., which appears as the copyright holder.

On existing customers, a search result excerpt of Cursor's own post on X says current subscribers can keep their plan or switch to the new subscription. We could not open that post directly (the page returned an error), so we treat this as a reported statement rather than a confirmed term. Several blogs date the launch to Oct 12, 2026; Cursor's own changelog does not mention the change. Check your account's billing page before assuming anything about your own plan.

Correction to Weekly #3 (Oct 15, 2026): we listed Cursor as unchanged. Our direct read of Cursor's pricing page that day returned this same Grok and X content, and we wrongly dismissed it as a retrieval error and relied on a secondary source showing the old plans. A price-tracking site records the change between Oct 12 and Oct 19. This week the page showed the same content in repeated reads, so we now treat it as Cursor's real pricing page.

Craft

Craft's pricing page, read twice on Oct 29, 2026, lists the Team plan as "$5 per user per month" with a minimum of three members. Our Oct 15, 2026 snapshot recorded Team as a flat €50/month for up to 10 Plus accounts. The page also now describes AI usage as "sessions" rather than credits: about 20 over the lifetime of a Free account, about 250–500 per year on Plus and about 1,500–3,000 per year on Team. Plus (€6.40) and Family (€12) prices match our earlier snapshot. The Team plan is shown in dollars while the other plans are in euros, and Craft's FAQ says prices vary by country, so the regional display may differ for you.

Who is affected / what to do

  • Cursor users and evaluators: re-read cursor.com/pricing while logged in, and estimate usage of third-party models separately. That cost sits outside the monthly fee on the tiers from Premium up.
  • Teams comparing coding assistants: GitHub Copilot ($10/$39/$100 with included AI credits) and Replit are unchanged this week, so their billing now differs more from Cursor's.
  • Small teams weighing note apps: check Craft's Team price in your own region before comparing it with Notion (Plus €9.50, Business €19.50 per member, unchanged).

Smaller items we could not resolve

  • Mailchimp: the (euro) page now shows "from" prices of €11.75 (Essentials), €18.07 (Standard) and €316.30 (Premium) for the first 12 months with a 15% discount. Our Oct 15 snapshot read €11, €17 and €309. The page does not say which contact tier these prices refer to, so we cannot tell a price change from a different display, and we report no change.
  • ElevenLabs: the page shows a first-month promotion (Starter $1, Creator $11) but also contradicts itself on when the banner ends and on recurring prices. Regular prices (Starter $6, Creator $22, Pro $99) are unchanged according to the page's FAQ.

Unchanged since Oct 15, 2026

Of the 22 tools re-read directly on Oct 29, 2026, 18 show no confirmed price, tier or limit change. For Fireflies.ai the pricing page itself shows no dollar amounts, so we used the vendor's own pricing article (dated July 10, 2026), which matches our earlier figures. Notable: ClickUp's page still shows Free, Core ($9), Business ($17) and Max ($100) per user per month on annual billing, as reported in Weekly #3.

What we could not verify

8 of 30 tools were not re-confirmed against an official page this week. Four were blocked or unreadable (Superhuman Docs, Perplexity, Canva, Midjourney). Kit's page returned "429 Too Many Requests" on repeated tries, so we repeat only that its 25% first-year Pro promotion was live on Oct 15, 2026. Make's pricing page again gave no extractable numbers; independent pricing guides dated September 2026 and a search snippet of the official page match our earlier Pro ($16) and Teams ($29) figures. We did not re-check Substack. ChatGPT Plus is still blocked for automated reading.
